There has been lots of snow falling here in Ottawa. I’m really happy for all the snow! There is a lot more snow in the forecast. I am happy that so much snow is falling, because this year we might even have a white Christmas. We have not had a lot of snow on Christmas in a few years, and I’m really happy that there will be a good amount of snow on the ground this year.
I can’t wait for the Holidays! Just 8 more days for me, and then it is the Christmas Holidays. We are having Christmas in Chelsea, QC, at my aunt and uncle’s house this year. We had New Years ‘07 there, but we have not had Christmas there in a while.
I can’t believe that this year is already coming to an end!
That’s it for now!! I hope to post again soon! Check for new fall photos that I will be posting on my Photo Site.

I was sick yesterday, I still am. I feel much more better now, though. Its seems to be a lot warmer in Ottawa, so maybe the snow will be gone after March Break!

Yesterday lots of snow fell. Just at the beginning of March, this this had to happen! I want warm weather here! I’ve said this ever since the end of the Holidays!!! The weather here is freaky. One minute it’s snowing, and now it looks like the sun is coming out. It’s very confusing weather- you never know what it’s going to do. I’m always Checking out The Weather Network- but they rarely get anything right, so really there’s no point.
We shoveled a whole lot of snow yesterday, and a little more fell this morning. It’s now really bright and sunny right now, but that could change any minute.
That’s about all that’s hapenning. We’re going out today to do some shopping and some other stuff. I hope the weather is a little better by then
That’s it!!

It’s Valentines Day! I’m wishing all of my readers a Very happy Valentines Day!
I hope everyone celebrating tonight will have a great time! I Completely forgot that Valentine’s day was coming, or I would have done some fancy graphics for today. The weather is still quite cold here in Ottawa. Lots of snow, it’s been snowing all day. There are weather alerts for blowing snow and reduced visiblity on the roads. It’s not the best weather for today.
I am looking forward to it to start warming up, I can’t wait for that!
We have a Weather Alert, Issued by Environment Canada:
A WINTER STORM NOW CENTRED NEAR LONG ISLAND WILL CONTINUE TO TRACK NORTHEASTWARD ALONG THE EASTERN SEABOARD TODAY. SNOW AND STRONG WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO OVER PARTS OF EASTERN ONTARIO THIS EVENING BEFORE THE SNOW AREA ASSOCIATED WITH THE STORM PULLS AWAY EAST OF ONTARIO BY MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS IN THE 10 TO 20 CENTIMETRE RANGE HAVE FALLEN ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO ALONG WITH REDUCED VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING SNOW. FLURRIES WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE NIAGARA REGION TONIGHT IN THE NORTHERLY FLOW OFF LAKE ONTARIO. AS THE STORM TRACKS TOWARD THE MARITIMES IT WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP. THIS WILL RESULT IN HEAVY SNOW OVER PORTIONS OF EASTERN ONTARIO TODAY AND TONIGHT ESPECIALLY ALONG THE ST LAWRENCE RIVER. LATEST ANALYSIS INDICATES THAT AREAS EAST OF A LINE FROM OTTAWA TO SMITHS FALLS TO KINGSTON WILL SEE THE HIGHEST SNOW FALL AMOUNTS IN THE 15 TO 20 CENTIMETRES RANGE…AND LOCALLY UP TO 30 CENTIMETRES TOWARDS THE CORNWALL AREA BY MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. LOW VISIBILITIES CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED WITH BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. BEHIND THIS STORM WINDS WILL GRADUALLY SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST THIS EVENING. THE COLD AIR OVER THE RELATIVELY WARM GREAT LAKES WILL ALLOW SNOWSQUALLS TO DEVELOP TO THE LEE OF LAKE HURON AND GEORGIAN BAY. LOCAL SNOW AMOUNTS OF 10 TO 15 CENTIMETRES ARE LIKELY WITH REDUCED VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING SNOW. THE STRONG WINDS WILL ALSO USHER IN EVEN COLDER AIR THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT AND RESULT IN WIND CHILL VALUES BELOW -30 FOR MANY REGIONS. CONDITIONS WILL GRADUALLY IMPROVE THURSDAY MORNING. ENVIRONMENT CANADA CONTINUES TO MONITOR THIS STORM CLOSELY AND WILL ISSUE OR UPDATE WARNINGS ACCORDINGLY.
PLEASE REFER TO THE LATEST PUBLIC FORECASTS FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
Tempuratures are currently hovering around -14°C With a windchill factor of about -23°C, and it could get colder.
I’m very much looking forward to warmer weather!
Happy Valentines Day!

I can’t beleive it! It’s already February, 2007! January went by very quickly. Today, Winterlude in Ottawa Starts. Winterlude is sort of a winter festival, with skating on the Rideau Canal, and lots of ice sculptures and lights. (read more). It’s really odd- It’s gotten a lot warmer now, why couldn’t it have been warmer in January, rather than the month where we want the cold? This is weird
I do hope to get out this February, because Spring is on it’s way… Hopefully.
Next week, it’s my birthday, and that’s about the only big thing happening for me this month. Next month there is not too much going on either. I can’t wait until June, there is a lot going on, including the end of the school year
It’s only 4 more months, if you don’y count this month.
That’s about it! This was really lame, I had to think really hard of something to ramble on about. That’s It!!
