Christmas of 2007 is already here! It seems like Christmas ‘06 was just here, and 2007 just started, but it’s already Christmas, and 2007 is almost over! We had our family party last night. The next party will be New Years. We will probably only do something small, though. I was really happy with the party last night.

I really don’t have too much to say, but I thought I’d just post this, saying Merry Christmas!! to everyone!

Yesterday was Canada Day. We did not get a chance to go out and see the celebration and the fireworks though. Houses in my neighbourhood were doing lots of fireworks, and from my window, I could see the fireworks a local theatre and park, about 15 minutes away.

I hope next year I can go out and see lots of fireworks, or maybe do our own. It was not that nice outside anyway. It was late, and kind of cool, and it was raining on and off- so I think it was better just watching the neighbours doing the fireworks.

Tomorrow is my last day of school before going on Summer Holidays. It is very exciting and I need this break so much, like I said over and over again! I am so looking forward to the summer- about 10 weeks of holidays!

I still have not got too much planned for this summer, but I know it will be a very good holiday! I can’t wait!!

Tomorrow, there is not too much going on, so that will be good.

Tomorrow:

•  I have to clean out my Locker.
• I have to bring in stuff for the year end breakfast.
• We go to the Academic Awards ceremony.
• We have a final period of Art, and then the year is done!

I am really looking forward to this!

Next week will be the very last week of school until the summer break. I am very much looking forward to this. I hope to do some exciting things this summer.  The weather has been, and still is very hot. I am enjoying this weather. I hope to get out a lot this summer, and do lots of outdoor stuff.

In July, we have relatives coming, so that is also another thing to look forward to. I can’t wait for everything to start! Just one week to go!

It’s Valentines Day! I’m wishing all of my readers a Very happy Valentines Day! I hope everyone celebrating tonight will have a great time! I Completely forgot that Valentine’s day was coming, or I would have done some fancy graphics for today. The weather is still quite cold here in Ottawa. Lots of snow, it’s been snowing all day. There are weather alerts for blowing snow and reduced visiblity on the roads. It’s not the best weather for today.

I am looking forward to it to start warming up, I can’t wait for that!

We have a Weather Alert, Issued by Environment Canada:

A WINTER STORM NOW CENTRED NEAR LONG ISLAND WILL CONTINUE TO TRACK NORTHEASTWARD ALONG THE EASTERN SEABOARD TODAY. SNOW AND STRONG WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO OVER PARTS OF EASTERN ONTARIO THIS EVENING BEFORE THE SNOW AREA ASSOCIATED WITH THE STORM PULLS AWAY EAST OF ONTARIO BY MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS IN THE 10 TO 20 CENTIMETRE RANGE HAVE FALLEN ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO ALONG WITH REDUCED VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING SNOW. FLURRIES WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE NIAGARA REGION TONIGHT IN THE NORTHERLY FLOW OFF LAKE ONTARIO. AS THE STORM TRACKS TOWARD THE MARITIMES IT WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP. THIS WILL RESULT IN HEAVY SNOW OVER PORTIONS OF EASTERN ONTARIO TODAY AND TONIGHT ESPECIALLY ALONG THE ST LAWRENCE RIVER. LATEST ANALYSIS INDICATES THAT AREAS EAST OF A LINE FROM OTTAWA TO SMITHS FALLS TO KINGSTON WILL SEE THE HIGHEST SNOW FALL AMOUNTS IN THE 15 TO 20 CENTIMETRES RANGE…AND LOCALLY UP TO 30 CENTIMETRES TOWARDS THE CORNWALL AREA BY MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. LOW VISIBILITIES CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED WITH BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. BEHIND THIS STORM WINDS WILL GRADUALLY SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST THIS EVENING. THE COLD AIR OVER THE RELATIVELY WARM GREAT LAKES WILL ALLOW SNOWSQUALLS TO DEVELOP TO THE LEE OF LAKE HURON AND GEORGIAN BAY. LOCAL SNOW AMOUNTS OF 10 TO 15 CENTIMETRES ARE LIKELY WITH REDUCED VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING SNOW. THE STRONG WINDS WILL ALSO USHER IN EVEN COLDER AIR THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT AND RESULT IN WIND CHILL VALUES BELOW -30 FOR MANY REGIONS. CONDITIONS WILL GRADUALLY IMPROVE THURSDAY MORNING. ENVIRONMENT CANADA CONTINUES TO MONITOR THIS STORM CLOSELY AND WILL ISSUE OR UPDATE WARNINGS ACCORDINGLY.

This weekend my family gave me a little Birthday Party. It was really fun. Not all of my family could come, because they were gone on Vacations. I got great gifts- Money!! I got a lot of money! I want to get another computer- a laptop one that I really am happy with. I’m not sure if I want a Mac, or a Windows, but I have a while yet before I make a purchase.

I also got a cool new HP lazer printer. I really love it. It prints really fast- unlike my old one which was an ink jet, and would only print up to two or three sheets a minute. I do a lot of printing for School and other stuff, so I want it to be fast. I now have a good Printer and I like it.

Yesterday, I posted about my Webhosting Service at BlueSummerSkies Design. It unfortuately did not work out. I don’t think My webhost supported Wordpress MU software. The webhost I’m using for this site does, but I don’t want to make my personal blog a webhosting service.

That is about all for now! I’m still looking in to what Laptop I should get. I can’t wait to actually get a nice new one!

Thursday was my birthday. Today My family is giving me a little party. Some family can’t make it. It’s not going to be anything big, just a little something. I’m really happy, and this is going to be fun.

I’ve already gotten a few cards and gifts, and I’m sure there’s more It’s exciting, and I can’t wait to see everyone tonight. Right now we’re cleaning up the house waiting for people to start coming over.

There’s nothing really for me to do, so I’m just posting this. I can’t wait until tonight!

I can’t beleive it! It’s already February, 2007! January went by very quickly. Today, Winterlude in Ottawa Starts. Winterlude is sort of a winter festival, with skating on the Rideau Canal, and lots of ice sculptures and lights. (read more). It’s really odd- It’s gotten a lot warmer now, why couldn’t it have been warmer in January, rather than the month where we want the cold? This is weird I do hope to get out this February, because Spring is on it’s way… Hopefully.

Next week, it’s my birthday, and that’s about the only big thing happening for me this month. Next month there is not too much going on either. I can’t wait until June, there is a lot going on, including the end of the school year It’s only 4 more months, if you don’y count this month.

That’s about it! This was really lame, I had to think really hard of something to ramble on about. That’s It!!

Wow! this year flew by so fast! It’s just hours away from the new year! We’re going to be in Chelsea, Quebec tonight at my Aunt and Uncle’s house. I think it’s going to be a great New Years eve tonight. We’re supposed to get some snow tonight, and the weather is good.

We’re going to the party around 5:00 tonight, and I will be bringing my camera, and taking lots of pictures. I will be sharing a few here, and more of them on Officiallyshane.org. I can’t wait!! It’s really exciting!
