I had recently revamped an older test blog. It is now a tutorial blog at my web Design site- BlueSummerSkies Design. I’ve revamped the old Blog to be a tutorial site. It’s simply called BlueSummerSkies Blog Edition, offering free tutorials especially for beginners. Check it out!

I have been soooo busy lately, I have not had time to do anything for me. I was away a few days last week, and I was getting caught up on some stuff. I did a lot of it on my computer, but I still had so much homework to do. I am so upset by this.

I am happy about this weekend, because there’s not a lot of homework. All I have to do is type up a page for English and then I’m done.

We also have a Music Theory test on Friday. I have been reviewing, and I’m going to again this weekend. We did a science test today, and I did study for it, and I don’t think I did too badly I don’t like it right now because we’re getting too much tests. We’ve had a test for every class- except Gym Class.

I also did a Geography test a few days ago and got a good mark -yay! We did a Religion test yesterday, and I don’t think I good at all

That’s about it! I have not posted in a while, so I thought I’d give a little update to the readers.

Something I wanted FOREVER! I finally got Adobe Photoshop. I’m currently horrible at it, but I will improve. Look around my site, new design- I’m keeping my blue one for when I get tired of this one. I’ll be switching back and forth. I’m modifying this theme, and I’m using Photoshop to do some of the graphics.

WordPress 2.1 is now out in the world! This is the release I, and many others have been waiting for. Upgrading is highly recommended, as there are over 550 bug fixes, and many cool new features. Frontpage selection also makes WordPress a good content management system. The next release will be on April 23, 2007.

Last night Movable Type released Movable Type version 3.34. You can get your free upgrade here. It’s been a little while since a new version of MT was released, WordPress has been made three releases in the past two months! Movable Type recommends that all Movable Type users upgrade.

I am so happy that Friday is here. Even though I was not at school Monday and Tuesday, this week seems to be going on forever, never ending. I hope this will be a good weekend. I would like to get out this weekend and do stuff. If I have any time, I will be working on my web projects. That’s it! I’m about to go to school.

  WordPress 2.0.6 did not last very long- at all! WP has already released version 2.0.7 which is probably going to be the last of WP 2.0. WordPress recommends that you upgrade your WordPress installation. There’s been a few bugs, and the Highly recommend you upgrade!! If you have not bothered to upgrade your WP, now is a good time to do it.

A while ago, I posted about my New website, Bluesummerskies.net. It was going to be a tutorial blog, offering web tutorials. Yesterday, we turned it into a small web design Business, as a little hobby to make some money on. The site was powered by Movable Type, but was just sitting there doing nothing, so I completely wiped it, and now it’s a WordPress powered non-blog website. I like WordPress, as you can use it for a blog, or with the right templates and plugins, use it to manage a full website. I also like Movable Type. My other personal site is powered by it.

That’s about it. I just wanted to say I started a small family Business, and we will see where it goes. I don’t expect to get any clients for a while, but hopefully I will sometime!

I heard that Aspartame (an artificial sweetener in diet drinks, and sugarfree gum and candy) can be very harmful. I did some research on it, and it turns out, that aspartame can be very harmful. I found a website- sweetpoison.com, and it explains some of the horrible things that this sweetener can do to you. It’s actually scary. I’m going to make sure that I don’t get a lot of this. I’m good right now, because I don’t drink diet drinks, or chew unsweetened gum. It says on the package if the product contains aspartame. You should watch out for it.

WordPress has launched a new feature on their website. It’s a simple form (click here) to express how you feel about WordPress. Tell the WP develoment team what you Absolutely Hate about WordPress! You can write anonymously write and express the things you disagree about in WordPress.

I think this is a good new feature, so you can really tell the development team about what you really hate and think should be changed.

Kvetch is Yiddish for: 1.  A chronic, whining complainer,  A nagging complaint: “a rambling kvetch against the system” (Leonard Ross).- From Answers.com.
