Before I can truly start blogging, and start getting more into personal blogging, I want to make my site’s design look absolutely perfect. I did some more work on it today. I’ve added Image headlines for all pages and posts. It looks really cool. You can install as many fonts as you like, and you can customize the way the plugin displays by changing size, colour, background, and shadowing. The Plugin can be found here. I found it on Coldforged.org. It says it is for WordPress 1.5, but I’m using WordPress 2.0.5, and it does not seem to be a problem. It works fine for me. I really like the way it looks on my site. I still have a little bit more changes to make here and there, and then I’m done, and I can really start to enjoy my website! ~That’s It for Now!~

Got It! I fixed the problems with IE. I’ve fixed up the code, and I have tested this site in Internet Explorer 7, and it works perfectly. Everything is displayed how it is supposed to. So just ignore that other post, where I said this site does not work properly in IE.

Shanebellinger.com is in the process of being re designed- again. I’ve been testing it with Netscape, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, and Internet explorer. Internet explorer DOES NOT WORK WELL WITH THIS SITE! Use any other browsers than Internet Explorer! If you are using Internet Explorer, you may not be able to see this site the way it actually looks. In internet explorer, entries are all squished together, and ‘asides’ (or small entries) are not displaying properly. The menu at the top of the page does not display that well either. If you run into problems such as these, it’s because your using IE, and not Firefox, Netscape, or Opera, which are the recommended browsers when viewing this website. *This site has not been tested with Safari, but I assume it will work. ***This Notice Only Applies when you have my New “Icy Blue Sky” theme (blue sky theme) is active.***

I have now completed Polkadot Pink&&Red 1.0. I am satisfied with it. It’s another simple theme, just like The Dark Side, but has a little bit more detail. It’s colours are a few different shades of red. It’s more of a ‘feminin’ style template. It’s great for personal sites, and blogs. It has a buit in stylesheet. It has only one background image. The zip file should contain only two files: index.htm, the HTML file, and an image which is the background image.An updated working preview of this template can be found here. Please visit the templates page to download this template. Please let me know if anything is wrong with this template.

You are free to modify this template in any way you see fit, but please leave the linkback to this in the footer to give me a little credit. This template may be used for any site, including commercial sites.

I just have to make a few minor changes to the template I’m working on. I need to clean up the code a little bit, and then I will release it. It won’t be long until the release. It will definately be out in the next two days, or maybe even tomorrow.

I have started on another quite simple website template called Polkadot Pink&&Red. It’s another simple template, except this one has a stylesheet, and a background image. It’s a few different shades of red. A Preview of this template (unfinished) can be found here. This template is being used on my sister’s personal site, too. It can be found here. This template would be good for personal blogs, pet sites, and sites related valentine’s day (because of the pink, red and white theme to it). I’m sure someone would find use for this template.After it’s released, I will start a professional website template, like I was talking about doing in my other post. I want to come up with a good idea for it first. I don’t know if I’ll have time to do it anytime soon, with school, and preparations for the holidays. I’ll try to get it done soon. I’m sure by January it will be released. In that time, I’ll probably quickly make up some more simple templates like ‘The Dark Side‘, or ‘Polkadot Pink&&Red‘. I will try!

You can change the way my site looks on your computer. Just scroll down the page until you see ‘Themes’ it has a list of the designs you can choose from: Chameleon, Sky Blue, Tarski, and WordPress Default. Click on a design to change the theme of this site. Please note: IMPORTANT!!!: Since Tarski is the main theme my site is set at you can only sign the Guestbook when the theme is set to ‘Tarski’ If you want to sign my guestbook, be sure to select ‘Tarski’ Also, the Aside Posts (like this post) will display as an aside only when the ‘Tarski Theme Option‘ or ‘Sky Blue Theme Option‘ is active. Sidebar Mini Posts will only show up with Tarski, too.

We’re getting a very early start to the holidays this year. This weekend, we are going to put up all of our lights, and outdoor decorations. I love the holidays. It’s so exciting. We’re going to have our family Christmas party this year at our house. We’re putting our Christmas trwee up, probably next weekend. After that, I’m going to go over to some family members’ houses, and help them decorate for Community/Unpaid service hours for School. It’s definately an early start, though.

Last night, I added some new features to this site. One of the features is the Theme switcher Option, (at the bottom of the sidebar) and I added post rating stars, above all of my posts. You can rate the post as 1star, 2star, 3star, 4star, or 5star. I already got one post rated. If you really like a certain post, than please rate it. I’m still testing this feature out, but if it does not work, I will remove it. Another feature is the Poll (look at the sidebar). Every so often I will post a web poll to get your opinion on stuff. That’s it.
